Midwife’s Herball Middelheim / The Virtues
The Virtues are twelve banners for twelve anti-fertility plants that make up the Midwife’s Herball of Middelheim. The embroideries on each of the banners, stitched onto ‘pockets’ that resemble a uterus and ovaries, are made by Wessam Ashour and Louzan Khalikova.
